Password, biometrics and what to do if you lose access.

Open Settings and go into Account and security.

To change your password, use Change password.

If you change your login email, one message goes to the old address and one to the new. You have to confirm from both.
That is deliberate: it means nobody can change your email even if they find your session open for a moment.

In the phone app you can turn on fingerprint or face unlock to get in without typing your password.

If you lose access, recover the account from the sign-in screen with the code sent to your email.
