Layaway payments

Step by step

   Open Layaways from the menu and stay on the tab Active.

   That is where the open ones live. Completed and cancelled ones have their own tabs.

   Open the customer’s and look at the Balance due.

   Each time they pay a part, tap Record a payment.

   Enter the amount and which method they used. The balance updates itself.

   Record each payment when it happens, not from memory at the end of the month. It is the only way you and your customer see the same number.

   When the balance reaches zero the layaway is ready to complete: you close the sale and hand over the product.
